USE: Insert needle into fish at a 45º angle approximately 1-2" behind the base of the pectoral fin. Insert the tip just deep enough to release gases but not damage the internal organs... escaping gas in audible and deflation is noticeable. Slight pressure on the fish abdomen may help. Never puncture guts. Always revive fish in the water with a forward flow of water in the mouth and over the gills.
